Chairman Guo Meiling led 200 top medical professionals to support Wuhan
On February 20, 2020, led by Guo Meiling, Chairman of Century River Group and Vice Chairman of Health 100, a medical care team composed of 200 top medical professionals arrived at Wuhan Tianhe International Airport taking a special plane. In the following days, they will be sent to six districts in Wuhan to provide medical support for first-line hospitals.
At 11:25 A.M. February 20th, a special plane of China Eastern Airlines designated by Civil Aviation Administration of china, which was full of 200 top medical professionals and 100 cubic meters of security supplies, arrived at Wuhan Tianhe International Airport. They are from the medical team of Health 100 committed to supporting Hubei, which is one of private medical institutions and professional medical teams that are included in national unified rescue plan.
The first batch of 200 medical professionals of Health 100 to support Wuhan were selected from more than 30,000 medical workers from Health 100, Cming, MJ and OASIS. Among them were there retired military doctors who had participated in the battle against SARS, a nurse whose husband had been working in Huoshenshan Hospital, and former ICU doctor from famous Grade III Class A hospital, 80% of whom were women. It is reported that 100 cubic meters of living and protective materials were also transported by the plane.
